Samsung Galaxy Note 20’s chipset might not be that bad after all

With the Galaxy Note 20 launch just a week away, all eyes will be on what upgrades Samsung brings to the table. While the chipset might remain unchanged, there might be a silver lining. While Samsung flagship like the Note series and the S series are powered by Snapdragon chipsets in the US and European markets, they come with Exynos chipset in Asian markets such as India. It often tends to lose out on the performance front against Qualcomm Snapdragon counterparts. However, a new leak suggests some good news in this regard. Sky TV deal knocks 26% off mega bundle with Netflix and Sky Box Sets

Sky TV deals have been a bit dry in recent months but we've certainly got one for you today that was well worth the wait. You can save 26% (£162) on the price of a Sky TV bundle with both the Entertainment base package and the Ultimate on Demand add-on. Ultimate on Demand is Sky's new box set beast. Not only does it include the excellent collection of Sky Box Sets, but also a Netflix subscription. And yes, if you already have Netflix, you can swap over your existing account, so you don't have to rebuild your watchlist or anything like that. This double whammy of services was already great value at the previous price of £12 a month as it was cheaper than the old prices of paying for Sky Box Sets as a bolt on and your own Netflix sub bought separately, but with this deal that £12 cost is now £3 a month.  As for the Entertainment base package (£22 a month), this also includes your Sky Q box which allows you to record multiple live channels at...

Huawei says its upcoming OS software won't replace Android

We're not entirely sure what Huawei is working on deep inside its software labs – Ark OS , possibly, or Harmony OS – but the company says the operating system it's building is being designed for industrial use rather than as a direct Android replacement. That's as per the state-backed Xinhua news agency , which reports a Huawei executive insisting that Android will continue to run on Android phones for the foreseeable future. Huawei senior Vice President Catherine Chen told the media that the operating system – which also goes by the name Hongmeng – is "not for smartphones" and has far more lines of code than would be needed for consumer mobile devices. We're impressed by the Huawei P30 Pro The US Huawei ban looks set to be relaxed More leaks of the Google Pixel 4 XL The comments need to be taken in a wider context though: Huawei representatives have previously said that the Chinese tech giant is indeed working on a repla...

Huawei Mate 20 Pro deals now at lowest price yet across a range of retailers

We can't help but feel like Huawei Mate 20 Pro deals are the premium flagship gift that just keeps giving. After watching the price of contracts on this mammoth mobile phone come crashing down, we've now seen the collapse of SIM-free costs as well, making this device far cheaper, no matter how you want to pay for it. Considering the Huawei Mate 20 Pro launched just 8 months ago with an RRP of £899, the fact you can currently grab it for just £499.99 is exceptional . We saw the smartphone drop to this amount during the Amazon Prime Day offers earlier this week, but we weren't expecting the price to stick past the event. It's not just Amazon offering this deal either. With the same cost across a range of retailers, we're hoping to see price tags like this stick around for a while longer. Just don't wait around too long - you'll be gutted if you miss a deal like this. With a handset we rank as the fourth best phone on the market and prices...
